Abigail Spencer made an appearance on Monday's episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" alongside her fellow "Suits" co-star, Donald Faison. Spencer, who had previously worked with Meghan Markle on "Suits," relayed a message from Meghan to the host, Kelly Clarkson. "Meg says hello and that she loves you and that she voted for you on American Idol," Spencer told Clarkson. Clarkson's response was a playful, "It worked!" Spencer went on to explain that Meghan's message was unsolicited and that Meghan didn't know Spencer would be appearing on the show. "We were just chatting, and I was like, 'Oh, I'm going to see Kelly next week,' and she's like, 'I have a message,'" Spencer explained.

Spencer also mentioned that Meghan had recently had dinner with Michael B. Jordan, who apparently complimented Clarkson as "the greatest singer on Earth." Clarkson jokingly dismissed the compliment, saying, "He's lying, but I love him." However, Clarkson's response garnered some criticism on social media, with some users mocking her for appearing desperate. She also joked about Meghan's rise to fame through "Suits," saying, "I got cast on a show called 'Suits' – never heard of it," to which Clarkson replied with a laugh, "Never heard of it! LOL."
