King Charles Disowns Prince Harry Amid Fraud Visa Allegations in the US

In a legal battle unfolding in the United States, King Charles has thrown his support behind his son, Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex recently saw a reduction in his legal fees after taking action against the government for what he deemed as unjust delays in providing crucial documents. This reduction, amounting to 10%, comes as a result of a judge's reprimand toward the government for its sluggishness in furnishing necessary paperwork.

However, despite this legal victory, Prince Harry's appeal for further reconsideration was denied by Judge Sir Peter Lane, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Nevertheless, the royal legal team is anticipated to escalate the matter to the Court of Appeal.

A spokesperson from the Home Office expressed contentment with the court's decision not to appeal further, yet refrained from offering detailed commentary on the ongoing legal proceedings.

The legal scuffle dates back to February when Prince Harry faced defeat in a high-profile court battle with the Home Office. This legal tussle stems from his challenge against a 2020 decision by the Executive Committee for the Protection of the Royal Family and Public Figures, which dictated a change in his security arrangements while in the UK.

The court, however, ruled that the 2020 decision was lawful and justified any deviations from the established policy. It also absolved the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVIC) of any misconduct regarding the organization of Prince Harry's UK visits following the decision.

The crux of Prince Harry's legal contention lies in his quest for automatic police protection in the UK, a right he believes was stripped unjustly. Despite the decision to reduce his taxpayer-funded security profile starting in 2020, this recent legal victory ensures that his security will remain intact during future visits to the UK.

Looking ahead, Prince Harry is slated to return to the UK, possibly for an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, an initiative he founded in 2014 during his tenure as a member of the Royal Family.
