Lauren Sánchez's Power Move: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Left Off White House State Dinner Guest List, Stirring Controversy

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly expressed interest in engaging with U.S. politics ahead of the upcoming elections, as per The Mirror. The couple is said to be teaming up with influential figures from Hollywood to raise awareness about the threat of deepfake technology and its potential impact on voters. Through their Archewell Foundation, they aim to launch a campaign focused on safeguarding voters against election misinformation. With support from Hollywood power players and a bipartisan coalition, Meghan and Harry will work towards preparing U.S. voters for the possible onslaught of deepfake content during the 2024 presidential election, scheduled for November 5th.

This move isn't the first instance of the couple showing their political interests. During the previous U.S. election campaign, they faced backlash for engaging in political endeavors. They released a video encouraging voters to reject hate speech, misinformation, and online negativity. Speculation about Meghan's inclination towards social and political issues around the world has often led to suggestions that she may enter U.S. politics. However, despite Meghan and Harry's involvement in such matters, they were not invited to the recent White House State Dinner hosted for Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko Kishida. Interestingly, Lauren Sanchez, whom Meghan reportedly considers an adversary, was among the high-profile guests at the event, accompanied by her fiancé, Jeff Bezos.

The White House State Dinner showcased a range of notable attendees, including Vice President Kamala Harris, second gentleman Doug Emhoff, Robert Downey Jr., Zoe Saldana, Amy Poehler, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and others. It marked the fifth such dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden since taking office in January 2021. While Meghan openly supported Joe Biden during his election campaign, it appears that she and Prince Harry were not favored for an invitation this time.

This exclusion from the guest list is not the first instance where Meghan and Harry have been uninvited. Last December, Harry was also snubbed from attending an event related to the Invictus Games veterans. Notably, several billionaire CEOs attended the gathering, which could have provided an opportunity for networking. Meanwhile, Meghan seemed focused on public relations and media coverage, as she was reportedly assessing the number of stories and projects she could push out.

It is evident that despite Meghan's attempts to associate herself with influential figures in Hollywood and U.S. power circles, she still faces challenges in gaining acceptance. Some consider her a former actress with limited influence, while others believe she married into royalty but will eventually fade into obscurity. The world's attention may soon shift to other prominent figures, as the couple's relevance diminishes over time.
