After filming concluded, Meghan approached Nacho Figueras and requested an invitation to his and his wife Delina's stunning home in Wellington. However, the invitation was not extended, as Delina expressed concerns about Meghan potentially imitating her distinctive interior style.
Until two years ago, Harry and Meghan were not invited to stay with Nacho and Delina. The family's base in Florida was a modest three-bedroom condominium, serving primarily as a place for eating and sleeping rather than a sanctuary. When Nacho, a devoted designer with a keen eye for real estate, learned that a house in the area was going on the market, he and his wife wasted no time in purchasing it. They were captivated by its prime location on a corner lot, surrounded by water.
While the unadorned Moorish façade appealed to the couple, the opulent interiors, featuring mustard-colored walls, outdated millwork, and an ornate staircase, left much to be desired. "It was like a Scottish castle, which doesn't fit this landscape," Figueras remarked. He considers himself a frustrated architect and credits fellow polo player Peter Brandt for introducing him to the transformative power of art and design. Megan reportedly appreciates this architectural style and expressed a desire to see it firsthand. However, Delina was hesitant about Meghan potentially copying their aesthetic and snooping around their home to take pictures of the interior.
Rumors circulated that Harry borrowed Nacho's private jet to fly back to California, but it remains unclear whether Nacho lent it to him. Despite the supposed rift, Delina and Nacho have remained friends with Harry throughout his life changes. However, Delina has developed a dislike toward Meghan, although she has never expressed any negative sentiments directly. Delina has even posted kind messages on her Instagram, but her reservations stem from not wanting to upset Harry.
In the past, Harry used Nacho's horse, and Nacho and Delina accommodated Harry and his children while they had a polo season and their own relatively small condo was under construction. Nacho charges for horse usage and training, and while that season may have been a freebie for Harry, it is not the case anymore.
