Buckingham Palace’s latest announcement has sparked concern among fans of Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, who is currently receiving cancer treatment. On Friday, the palace revealed that King Charles will embark on his first overseas trip since his cancer diagnosis. The trip will coincide with an event marking the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The monarch will be accompanied by Queen Camilla, 76, and their elder son, Prince William, 41. They will join Canadian veterans at the Juno Beach Centre in Courseulles-sur-Mer along the Channel coast. However, Kate Middleton will be noticeably absent from the commemorations. She is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer and was last seen at a public engagement in December of last year.
This announcement has left royal fans worried about Kate Middleton’s health. One fan commented on a Daily Mail report, saying, “The King was diagnosed with cancer, had his treatment, and was seen in public on and off, continuing with some duties. Now he’s even planning to go overseas. On the other hand, Kate is apparently having preventive treatment but is nowhere to be seen?!”
