According to the Telegraph, although Prince Charles and Prince Harry haven't seen each other in the past two months, it's uncertain if Charles's schedule will allow a meeting with Harry. The King's packed agenda includes a regular audience with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, attendance at the first Buckingham Palace Garden Party of the season, and prior commitments. Harry's visit to the UK is prompted by his attendance at a special ceremony in London commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games week. As is customary whenever Harry plans a visit to Britain, speculation arises about potential meetings with King Charles and Prince William.
A recent report by the Daily Express suggested that Camilla is likely to snub Harry during his visit. A source told the outlet, "Even if Harry does meet with his father, it's highly unlikely that Camilla will be in the same room." Health permitting, the King is due to attend the garden party at Buckingham Palace on May the 18th. If a meeting with Harry were to take place, it would have to be just before or after that.
Royal author Penny Junor claimed in a report from the Telegraph that Harry purportedly refused to be in the same room with his stepmother, Queen Camilla, during the visit. Meghan isn't attending alongside her husband, a decision that wouldn't surprise many, as royal commentator Omid Scobie claims she never wants to set foot in England again. Furthermore, Harry will also take part in a service of Thanksgiving at the iconic St. Paul's Cathedral next Wednesday. This could potentially play a significant role in Meghan deciding not to join her husband. The last time the couple paid a visit back in 2022, they were booed as they emerged from their vehicle.
The Sussex's ally Chris Ship told The Sun in an exclusive show that Meghan wouldn't want to experience that again. "The difficulty is, you remember last time they went to St. Paul's Cathedral, which was for the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee, they got booed," he said. "We heard the boos for them. We should be clear there were also people cheering for them, but there were definitely boos at St. Paul's Cathedral, so going back there, I can see why Meghan may not wish to accompany Harry."
As much as Meghan is a somewhat polarizing character in this country, being loved by some and disliked by others, she's likely to be seen very differently in Africa. Elsewhere in the show, Chris Ship admits King Charles has never met Lilibet. This marks the first instance where a media supporter of Harry and Meghan openly acknowledges that the King has yet to meet Lili. This revelation adds weight to Kate Mann's assertion, although since retracted in one of her articles, stating that Lili has not visited the UK.
Additionally, it's noteworthy that apart from Chris Ship and Kate Mann dismissing the possibility of Lili meeting King Charles, let alone Queen Elizabeth, Jack Royston has also conceded that aside from two occasions when Harry and Meghan attended Jubilee events, during which they certainly didn't bring their children, none of them physically left Frogmore Cottage throughout the entire trip.
