Thomas said Meghan believes Harry is becoming too unstable and unpredictable due to the pressures of royal life. She supposedly fears for their children's safety if Harry continues on his current volatile path. According to Thomas, Meghan hinted she had already consulted with attorneys and clinic directors about the involuntary commitment process. She allegedly planned to cite Harry's worsening mental condition and erratic behavior as reasons for medical intervention and admittance.
Thomas warned Charles that if Harry didn't fall in line, supporting Meghan's Hollywood ambitions and demands, she was fully prepared to follow through on having him institutionalized.
Thomas also revealed more in his late-night ramblings with Charles. Thomas said Meghan already has powerful industry allies like Oprah ready to support her post-royal transition in Hollywood.
Of course, much of what Thomas conveyed in his clearly inebriated state requires further investigation and corroboration from reliable sources. However, the accusations were certainly alarming enough to prompt emergency meetings between Charles, William, and their most trusted advisers later that day.
Contingency plans are now said to be in the works just in case Meghan's alleged schemes prove truthful. Meanwhile, Harry and the palace have strongly and unequivocally denied all of Thomas's shocking claims about Meghan's supposed underhanded activities.
They depict Thomas as an attention-seeking, unstable man who can't be trusted, considering his long history of betrayal against his daughter. Still, doubt and suspicion have understandably been sowed amongst the public with this sensational story breaking.
Regardless of its veracity, the damage has clearly been done.
