Prince Harry Finds Himself Stuck as Spare, Playing Second Fiddle in His Own Marriage

Renowned royal author Angela Levan recently shared her insights on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship. According to Levan, the Duchess of Sussex has gained a reputation as a "difficult woman" following their royal tour of Nigeria. However, Levan acknowledged that during their time in Africa, the couple successfully promoted mental health initiatives through their Archewell Foundation and Harry's prestigious Invictus Games, of which Nigeria became a member just last year.

Despite these positive endeavors, Levan spoke candidly with GB News, asserting that the Duke of Sussex is "squashed to pieces" in his relationship with the Duchess. She suggested that following the publication of his memoir, Harry has become a "spare" in his own marriage. Levan described the Duchess as a demanding woman who "pushes him, pulls him" as she pleases, noting that Harry's "fear of her is palpable" during public engagements.

Levan also expressed concerns that the Duchess has taken over the Invictus Games, which she described as Harry's "star" project. She criticized the Duchess's behavior during these events, claiming she has been seen "walking while delivering lectures and marching instructions to the past and current Army Personnel" in an "inappropriate" manner.

However, Levan did concede that the Duchess possesses "powerful woman qualities" and has a strong desire to "win in all her Endeavors." As for the Duke's post-trip statement, where he pledged to meet directly with people to bring about positive change, Levan believes this signals the couple's intention to remain in the public eye, much to the concern of the King and the Prince of Wales.
