Royal expert Cameron Walker, speaking with GB News, suggested that while reconciliation between the Sussexes and the royal family might occur, it's improbable that Harry and Meghan would resume their roles as working members of the monarchy. Walker cited several reasons for this stance, including the couple's waning popularity in UK opinion polls and the reluctance of the Waleses—Prince William and Kate Middleton—to endorse their return.
"I believe Prince William and Princess Catherine would hold firm opinions on whether Harry and Meghan should reclaim their roles as working royals," stated the royal expert. "Ultimately, any decision would rest with King Charles, should he be the one to decide."
"There appears to be a notable distinction between King Charles and the Prince and Princess of Wales, as there remains a bond between Harry and his father," he added.
