On X, the couple wrote, "Happy International Women's Day! Celebrating the impact of amazing women today and every day. Here are just a few of the incredible women we've been inspired by over the past 12 months."
The social media thread included several posts from William and Kate, highlighting their interactions with women such as Emma Webb, Sarah Goldson, and Whitey Cowan. The Princess of Wales was also seen greeting Bianca Sakul, CEO of Seb's Corner. On X, the couple shared, "Bianca Sakul is the founder and CEO of Seb's Corner, a boutique-style baby bank that believes no child should go without the basic needs they require to thrive. They provide an upbeat, welcoming environment and give families the choice and dignity to select the items they need."
In addition to this, William made an appearance today with Notpla to celebrate the scaling of Earthshot Prize solutions. Notpla, a sustainable packaging startup, won the Earthshot Prize in 2022. The Prince of Wales has recently returned to royal duties after his wife's stomach surgery in January 2024.
Kate is currently recuperating at Adelaide Cottage, where she lives with William and their three children. Rumors about Kate's recovery have been circulating on social media, leading to a few statements from Kensington Palace. Initially, they stated, "We were very clear from the start that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and that Kensington Palace would only provide updates when there was something important."
