Kate Middleton in Tears Over Heartbreaking News, Fans Moved by Emotional Reaction

When Catherine and Prince William travel to Scotland, they leave behind their titles as The Prince and Princess of Wales. Instead, they adopt different titles steeped in Scottish history. Currently, Catherine is undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment, which has kept her away from recent Royal Family engagements, sparking debates among the public.

Since her marriage to Prince William, Catherine has established herself as a key figure within the British Monarchy, often surpassing her husband and even gaining significant popularity. Her absence from the latest official royal family photograph has been notable and widely discussed.

Despite expectations for a grand royal ceremony that would bestow a historic title upon Catherine, such an event is not scheduled. On July 3, 2024, the British royal family gathered in Scotland to celebrate Hollywood Week. However, the future Queen's absence was conspicuous, compounded by Princess Anne's recovery from a recent equestrian accident.

The photograph from the event has sparked varied reactions, with admirers finding it charming while others express uncertainty and questions about its composition. The absence of Sophie and Catherine from the image, and Catherine's decision not to wear a robe despite attending the event, have fueled discussions.

Sophie, currently on maternity leave, holds the highest honor in Scotland as a Lady of the Thistle. Although other events were canceled to avoid interference with the election campaign, the royal family did not want to miss the significance of Vicky's 900th anniversary. King Charles, undergoing cancer treatment, extended his stay to engage with as many people as possible.

In a significant gesture during the St. Charles Cathedral ceremony, King Charles awarded Camilla and Prince Edward the Order of the Thistle, Scotland's most prestigious honor. William and Sophie of Idesburg also participated, donning traditional green velvet robes and hats adorned with white feathers.

When King Charles ascended to the throne, Prince William inherited his former title of Prince of Wales, with Catherine becoming the Princess of Wales. They also received the Dukedom of Cornwall, maintaining their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, bestowed upon their marriage in 2011.

Lesser-known is their title as The Duke and Duchess of FR, used specifically when they travel to Scotland. As the royal family attends events in Scotland this week as part of Hollywood Week, William assumes the Scottish titles that hold significant meaning.

"I have been greatly privileged to bear the title of King during much of my life and duty to the United Kingdom," King Charles expressed in his address. Prince William, recognized as the Prince of Wales, also holds titles such as Earl of Carrick, Baron of Renfrew, Lord of the Isles, and Prince and Great Steward of Scotland as the eldest son of The Sovereign.

Since their wedding day in April 2011, Queen Elizabeth granted William and Catherine the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, primarily used over the past decade. Prince William was also named Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus, corresponding to Catherine's title.
