King Charles has made a significant move amidst swirling rumors surrounding Meghan Markle's potential new product launch. Reportedly, just hours after speculation began circulating about the Duchess of Sussex's upcoming launch as part of her lifestyle brand, the 75-year-old monarch unveiled his latest offering: Highgrove Royal Estate Honey. Priced at £25 per 350g jar, this delicacy is produced by royal bees on the monarch’s private estate and is touted as a "fantastic gift for food lovers" due to its distinctive lime flavor.
The announcement came amidst speculation about Meghan Markle adding rosé wine to her collection of products at American Riviera Orchard. Previously, Meghan faced accusations of mimicking the King when she hinted at introducing pots of jam in flavors like raspberry and strawberry, reminiscent of the Buckingham Palace Strawberry Preserve.
Describing Charles’ Highgrove Organic Royal Estate Honey, the Royal Collection shop emphasized its unique production process: “Produced from pollen collected by the myriad of bees who all live in the exclusively commissioned traditional British double-walled beehives on the estate; each hive has its own specific design and took almost a year to construct by hand."
It continued, "The bees in the spring work the hedgerows of Highgrove Gardens and, in late June to early July, forage on the avenue of limes. The organic soft-set honey makes a fantastic gourmet gift for food lovers with its distinctive lime flavor."
