Worrying Updates from the Royal Palace: Setbacks in Cancer Treatments for Kate Middleton and King Charles

Kensington Palace has provided an update on Kate Middleton's well-being. The Princess of Wales will not be joining Prince William today as he participates in his annual charity polo match in Windsor. Prince William is set to compete in the Out Obtaining Inc Royal Foundation Polo Cup 2024 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park. The event aims to raise funds for various charitable causes. Unfortunately, Kate, who continues her chemotherapy treatment for cancer, will be absent despite briefly returning to the public eye last month.

Kensington Palace confirmed that she won't be among the spectators watching her husband compete in the cup. Last year, Kate attended the event, presenting Prince William with a prize and greeting him with a kiss.

In a statement released last month, Kate shared that she was making good progress but acknowledged that her treatment journey had its ups and downs. There is speculation that Kate might attend the Wimbledon tennis finals this weekend in her role as a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Meanwhile, William is rumored to travel to Germany to support Britain in the Euro 2024 football final against Spain in Berlin on Sunday. This year marks the 13th time William has participated in the polo event, which is expected to raise £1 million, bringing the total raised over the years to more than £13 million.

Eleven causes and organizations will benefit from the funds raised, including the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Rugby Football League Benevolent Fund, and MND campaigner Rob Burrow, among others.

William's appearance at the polo match follows his recent apology for his hoarse voice during a speech about his mission to end homelessness. The morning after the England men's football team reached the Euro 2024 final, the Princess of Wales joked with guests at the event about his voice being rough from celebrating Ollie Watkins' crucial goal that secured England's victory.

Yesterday, he spent over an hour in Brixton commemorating one year of his Backyard Invictus initiative, engaging with local stakeholders to discuss ways to further support the community.
