It has to be Princess Anne. She just turned 74 years old and embodies the spirit of a true warrior princess. Meghan Markle always talked about wanting to be a warrior princess, but Princess Anne is the real deal. She’s an incredible example to women of all ages—whether she's riding a horse in royal uniform supporting her brother's coronation or donning a ball gown and tiara, she’s been a hard-working Royal for 74 years. She’s done so much for the UK and the Commonwealth, and her resilience is remarkable. I just love Princess Anne and am thrilled to see her out and about, proving that age is just a number.
That’s certainly a fantastic choice, especially since it was her birthday this week. Princess Catherine and Prince William both joined King Charles in publicly wishing Princess Anne a happy birthday, which stands in contrast to the lack of public birthday wishes for Meghan Markle earlier this month. It’s quite a statement when King Charles and Queen Camilla extend their well-wishes, and then Prince William and Princess Catherine follow suit. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle didn’t receive any public birthday greetings from the royal family, which felt like a real snub.
Yeah, it's quite poetic, isn’t it? Meghan Markle did that cringy CBS Sunday Morning interview for her birthday, and the royal family hasn't acknowledged her birthday in a couple of years now. The same goes for Harry; they seem to have stopped publicly celebrating his milestones as well. The Royal family has kept silent about various events, including the Invictus Games, which might be a strategic move given the ongoing tension.
I agree, it makes sense for the Royal family to distance themselves from those who have tried to undermine the institution. It’s a smart move to focus on the working Royals who truly make a difference. I even think they should go further and remove mentions of Harry and Meghan from the official royal website, especially now that they’re involved in questionable activities.
Interesting you mention Prince Andrew. I might have a different opinion on him, so let’s discuss that further behind the scenes. Stay tuned for a possible collaboration on that topic!
As for the Royal Hero of the Week, for me, it's no competition—sorry Princess Anne, but it’s Prince William. His new beard is absolutely fantastic, and he’s proving how clueless the Sussex Squad can be. Some people claimed Prince William was copying Prince Harry, but Prince William had the beard first. So, for me, Prince William is definitely my hero of the week.
He’s also doing some incredible work, including a major project on cyberbullying. Unfortunately, I didn’t get all the details, but he’s definitely making an impact compared to what Harry and Meghan are doing.
Let’s wrap up this poll. Who’s your Royal Hero of the Week? It looks like Princess Anne is the winner with 65% of the votes, compared to Prince William’s 34%. So, Princess Anne is our Royal Hero of the Week here on Royal Clubhouse!
