Kate Middleton Plans a Grand Royal Comeback This Fall

Her next appearance could be as soon as November. After months of cancer treatment, Kate Middleton continues to have her "good days and bad days." However, it seems that the good days are beginning to outweigh the bad ones, prompting the Princess of Wales to plan for the future.

According to a recent report from The Sunday Times, Middleton might make her return to royal duties this fall. Although there is "no set date" and "no engagements scheduled" at the moment, she could potentially join King Charles and the rest of the royal family at the Cenotaph for the National Service of Remembrance on November 10.

The report notes that she will not be attending the Earthshot Prize Awards with her husband, Prince William, earlier in the month. However, preparations are underway for her annual "Together at Christmas" carol service at Westminster Abbey in December.

Despite spending a "restful" summer at Amner Hall in Norfolk with her family, those close to the princess emphasize that there is "no expectation for her to rush back" to public life. A friend told The Times, “People know and understand it is a long journey to recovery.”

The news of Middleton's potential comeback follows a recent hint about her return to work. On Friday, Kensington Palace shared a personal message from the princess on its social media channels, welcoming explorer and broadcaster Dwayne Fields as the new U.K. chief scout. In her note, she excitedly wrote, “Looking forward to working with you! C.”
