Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Their Three Children Stun During Family Outing at Holkham Beach

Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Their Three Children Stun During Family Outing at Holkham Beach

Royal fans may not know Holkham Bay by name, but they will certainly recognize its sandy dunes and stunning horizons from a few of the Prince and Princess of Wales' major announcements.** It's the place they often choose to share big news with the world. Kate and William seem to adore this stretch of the Norfolk coastline, which has been the backdrop for some incredibly intimate family moments.

In their latest video, if the camera had panned just a little wider, it might have captured some less pleasant scenes. We’re told that Anmer Hall is a godsend for the family – there are miles of white sand and a vast nature reserve just a few miles away. It’s a place where they can escape without being bothered by crowds, offering the slow-paced and quiet life that the Princess loves most.

Many followers of the Wales family may have noticed this backdrop in other family videos. It appeared again in Kate’s video, and had the camera shifted a bit, it might have shown a few less picturesque spots. But for the royal couple, Anmer remains a sanctuary. With its expansive white sands and nature reserves just a short distance away, it's a retreat where they can truly unwind. The Princess enjoys this peaceful, slow-paced life immensely.

Some royal watchers may have recognized that this location has been featured in previous family photos marking significant events. In June of this year, the Royal mum captured a heartwarming moment as Prince William jumped off sand dunes with their three children. This same beach was also believed to have been the setting for a video shared by the family in 2021 to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. Located just a short drive from the family’s Sandringham estate, it's been reported that even the late Queen Elizabeth II loved walking her corgis along this very shore.

A local source shared that the family has been seen enjoying the local seaside on many occasions. They’ve been spotted on a yacht just off Holkham Beach, allowing them the perfect mix of relaxation and privacy. "Holkham is incredible," the source added. "It’s the same beach from *Shakespeare in Love* – huge stretches of white sand with rolling dunes. Even though it’s popular, it never feels crowded because it’s so vast." However, they noted that during the peak summer season, the beach gets busier, making it harder for the royal family to visit without being noticed. The yacht provides them with the seclusion and security they need while still being able to enjoy their local beach.

Kate has always said she loves the simple things in life and prefers spending time at their Norfolk estate, Anmer Hall. It's where she and William enjoy long walks in nature and have taught their children to appreciate the countryside over luxury vacations abroad. While their children are always their top priority, an insider suggested that William might be planning a more exotic trip in the future, possibly to the Isles of Scilly or Mustique, as a second honeymoon.

"William is incredibly grateful that Catherine has pulled through," the insider revealed. "He never misses a day telling her how much he loves and needs her. Their life is filled with so much joy now. They're taking it one day at a time, but they feel like they've emerged from a dark period and are treasuring every moment."

While Kate remains deeply focused on her long-advocated causes, such as mental health awareness, she has also been seen running errands, often accompanied by her mother. Still, her main priority during the summer is ensuring that their three children have a wonderful holiday. Activities like swimming, horseback riding, and playing with their cousins at Anmer Hall fill their days.

In a beautiful family video, Kate is seen pushing her youngest son, Prince Louis, on a rope swing in the garden. Louis shows off his adventurous side by standing up on the swing as his mother pushes him higher. His fearless nature is on full display when he climbs atop a pile of logs and scales a lofty tree in the forest.

According to sources, when she feels up to it, Kate enjoys cooking and baking for her family, and she loves spending time playing cards and board games, with Scrabble being a family favorite. Given her current situation, Kate has been spending more time at home, reflecting on her work as a photographer and cherishing the moments with her family.

They understand that their time in this role – where they can enjoy being with their children without the full weight of public duties – is limited. Soon, when they become King and Queen, they know that they will be in the public eye more than ever. For now, they’re savoring these precious family moments.
