Meghan Markle’s Outrage After EasyJet CEO Dismisses Doria’s Claim of Being a Flight Attendant

Meghan Markle’s Outrage After EasyJet CEO Dismisses Doria’s Claim of Being a Flight Attendant

As you may have heard, Doria recently made claims in an interview that she worked as a flight attendant for EasyJet back in the 1980s. However, EasyJet's CEO has publicly denied this statement, asserting that company records show Doria was never employed by them during that time period. Meghan Markle is reportedly furious about this.

A few weeks ago, Doria gave a rare interview where she spoke about her past, including her time as a flight attendant for EasyJet in the 1980s. She reminisced about the travel perks and meeting new people, painting a positive picture of her experience. However, EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren has since stated, “We have thoroughly checked our employee records from the 1980s, and there is no record of Doria Ragland ever working as a flight attendant for EasyJet. EasyJet did not even exist as an airline until 1995. I’m not sure where this story has come from, but it’s factually incorrect.”

This denial has clearly stung Meghan and Doria, as EasyJet’s outright dismissal of their claims leaves no room for debate. Meghan, known for her strong reactions to criticism, reportedly contacted Doria immediately after hearing about the CEO’s remarks. Sources indicate that Meghan was enraged, insisting that EasyJet had no right to challenge her mother’s account of her life. She even hinted at potential consequences for EasyJet.

Subsequently, Meghan and Harry appeared at another high-profile charity event, where Meghan made a pointed remark to a journalist about the importance of companies verifying their facts before labeling people as liars. It was evident that this comment was directed at EasyJet’s CEO.

To investigate further, I reached out to an old neighbor of Doria’s from the 1980s. The neighbor recalled that Doria was a kind woman who mostly kept to herself and did not have a job as a flight attendant. Instead, she was finishing a degree in social work and working various odd jobs while raising Meghan as a single mother. This account didn’t align with the idea of her having a career in aviation.

I also found some of Doria’s old yearbook photos from the early 80s. The student profiles listed her as working part-time at the campus library while studying to become a social worker, with no mention of working as a flight attendant.

Further investigation revealed no record of Doria Ragland working as a flight attendant. Her documented jobs included positions such as library aide, waitress, and cashier, with nothing related to aviation.

It seems the evidence strongly contradicts Doria’s claim about working for EasyJet. It’s possible she confused some details over time or, as I hate to speculate, might have embellished her past to make it sound more glamorous.

Regardless, Meghan’s reaction to EasyJet’s correction is understandable, given her family’s pride. The next question is how Meghan will respond. Will she engage legal action, launch a public relations campaign, or take another approach? We’ll have to wait and see how this heated situation unfolds.
