During a recent visit to Wales, Prince William shed light on some of Princess Charlotte's favorite activities, revealing aspects of her life that the public might not be familiar with. On Tuesday, while attending a series of meetings in South Wales, the Prince of Wales shared insights about his daughter.
At his latest engagement in South Wales, Prince William visited Lenell, where he met with local residents and celebrated Welsh sports and culture. His day began with a visit to Swiss Valley Community Primary School, where he interacted with students participating in the 2024 Eisteddfod, a week-long festival celebrating Welsh language and culture.
Among the students he met was Ruby Davies, a 10-year-old Welsh learner who had recently gained recognition for her enthusiastic performance in the Individual Ral division. The Prince praised Ruby for her impressive abilities and mentioned that he would show her performance video to his daughter, Princess Charlotte, who shares a passion for performing and dancing.
In his conversation with Ruby, Prince William noted, "Charlotte loves performing and dancing as well, so I'm going to show your video when I get home." Ruby also gifted the Prince a book filled with postcards from the students, which William found very touching. He asked Ruby, "Did you construct them all at home and assemble them yourself? Thank you very much. You'll see them about—they'll be in heaven with those. Lewis would attempt to take all of his sister's parts, so I'll keep them away from him."
Prince William expressed his admiration for Ruby's performance, saying, "I've watched your video a few times. You performed quite well and didn’t seem anxious at all about taking the stage." Ruby admitted to feeling a little nervous but was very excited. The Prince concluded with a compliment, "It was very impressive. You're going to have to teach me how to speak Welsh!"
