Royal expert Hugo Vickers shared his insights with *The Sun*, stating, “There are two main reasons why Harry and Meghan might consider Portugal.
“Firstly, he has a close relationship with his cousin, Princess Eugenie. They get along exceptionally well, and it appears that they are among the few family members who still maintain a strong connection with Prince Harry.
“The second reason involves concerns about the potential re-election of Donald Trump as President. If that were to happen, there’s a fear that he might try to remove Prince Harry from the United States.
Vickers elaborated, “This would be precisely the kind of move Trump would make to demonstrate his authority and power. In the past, he has seemed annoyed by comments made by Meghan Markle and possibly Prince Harry as well.
“He would have every right to take such action, which might explain why Harry and Meghan are considering an alternative residence,” the expert noted.
