In an interview with The Sun, royal expert Ingrid Seward suggested that the mother of Archie and Lilibet has distanced herself from many past acquaintances, claiming she tends to “cut dead” those who upset her. Amid these accusations, Meghan has taken the opportunity to highlight her bond with Waight Keller.
In a statement to the New York Times, Meghan expressed her admiration for Waight Keller's work, noting her fondness for the Japanese casual wear brand. She revealed that she owns several pieces from the collection, especially as Waight Keller prepares to lead Uniqlo's men's and women's core collections for Autumn/Winter 2024.
Meghan stated, "Her pieces for the brand have movement and modern grace."
