According to a royal biographer, Angela Levin, Meghan and Harry are currently navigating some turbulent waters, particularly as Harry faces challenges with his U.S. visa. As previously reported DC lawyer John Witherspoon, the Heritage Foundation has officially submitted an appeal regarding Harry's visa status. The situation continues to unfold, and Angela Levin told GB News, “He’s got trouble with his visa. They’re allowed to look again at what the problem is, and he might still not be able to stay there. Maybe that’s why they’re buying somewhere else.”
She’s referring to their rumored purchase of a holiday home in Portugal, adding, “They say they’re going to work separately, then they say they’re buying a house in Portugal. You don’t do that if you don’t want to separate for most of the time.” So, it seems like things might be quite serious between the couple.
Angela also mentions that Harry is uncertain about his current decision-making process. On top of these rumors about their personal and professional relationship struggling, Meghan has recently faced backlash from Tina Brown, Princess Diana’s former biographer. Brown criticized Meghan, claiming she’s “flawless about getting it all wrong.” Apparently, Meghan didn’t take this critique well and was reportedly inconsolable after hearing her idol's comments.
Is anyone really surprised? Meghan often seems to invite criticism through her actions and statements, which, in my opinion, makes her an easy target. Angela Levin reacted to Brown’s podcast remarks, noting that Brown described Meghan in a very negative light—something she feels has rarely been done before. I respectfully disagree, as there have been numerous scathing critiques of Meghan and Harry in the past, including comments from Spotify executive Bill Simmons, who called them “effing grifters,” and several Hollywood celebrities who have publicly criticized them.
Just look at the South Park episode that humorously took them down a notch. So while Brown’s words might sting, they aren’t groundbreaking.

Now that the tables have turned, she’s feeling the heat. Levin remarked, “Can you imagine hearing that about yourself, especially when you think you’re incredibly important and everything you do is global?” This indicates that Meghan has a rather inflated view of her significance, while the reality might be quite different.

Rumors about Meghan’s memoir have been circulating for nearly two years, particularly after the success of Harry’s memoir, *Spare*. Many believe Meghan wants to ride that wave of success and release her own memoir, possibly to outshine Harry’s. It would make sense for Meghan to want her own spotlight, right?
In light of recent events, many speculate that Meghan and Harry may already be separated, and an official divorce could be on the horizon. Personally, I believe Meghan’s memoir is indeed on the way, but it might be released after any divorce proceedings. This would allow her to tell her side of the story—from her time before meeting Harry to her experiences in the royal family and her life in California, eventually leading up to the divorce. In that narrative, I can imagine she would position herself as the hero and Harry as the villain.
