Royal Family Faces Setback: Key Figure Essential for a Modern Monarchy Lost
King Charles appears to have lost a vital member of the Royal Family, one who could have played a significant role in reshaping the monarchy for contemporary times.
The Royal Family has recently endured a series of challenges, including the shocking diagnoses of cancer for both King Charles and Kate Middleton within just two months earlier this year.
With Charles and Kate’s noticeable absence from royal duties, followed by Prince William halting all of his engagements for several months, the void left in their wake has been palpable. This situation has also reignited discussions about their estranged relatives, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the decision to step back from their royal roles in 2020, relocating to the United States two years after their wedding
Since moving to America, the couple has faced numerous obstacles, especially after revealing personal struggles in their interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Now, as Harry and Meghan emerge as a seemingly powerful duo, royal commentator Jennie Bond believes the royal family could benefit from Meghan's unique qualities to help modernize the monarchy.
"Meghan could have been a tremendous asset to the Royal Family," Jennie stated. "She is an independent, assertive woman with her own career, beliefs, charities, and causes."
"She embodies precisely what a modern monarchy needs," she added.
Jennie went on to express that "the monarchy didn’t handle the situation as thoughtfully as they should have."
However, she noted that Meghan has a reputation for being somewhat of a diva, remarking, "She wasn’t pleased with what she encountered, and she felt her wings were being clipped."
It’s worth mentioning that Kate Middleton, who was diagnosed with cancer in January, has completed her chemotherapy and returned to her royal duties last month.
Meanwhile, King Charles continues to undergo treatment.
