Prince Harry's Legal Worries Resurface After Purchase

Prince Harry Faces Renewed Legal Troubles Amid Royal Tour. Prince Harry's legal challenges have resurfaced just as King Charles and Queen Camilla embark on their tour in Samoa. Despite previously settling a significant case, the Duke of Sussex finds himself facing yet another obstacle.

The younger son of King Charles has been under scrutiny regarding his US visa application, particularly after he disclosed his past drug use in his memoir, *Spare*. Now, he is once again at risk of legal action.

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, had previously taken legal action against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), requesting the release of Harry's visa documents. However, the case was closed in September when Judge Carl Nichols ruled in favor of the Duke, asserting that his visa details should remain confidential. The judge emphasized that the public interest in Harry's immigration records was “outweighed by the duke’s privacy interest.”

Now, the Heritage Foundation has filed a new application seeking to “vacate” that ruling. They are pressing officials to disclose the private correspondence between the government department and the judge, according to GB News.

The filing stated, “This Court should vacate its opinion and order, enter all ex parte correspondence on the docket, unseal ex parte correspondence consistent with the Opinion.” The think tank argues that the lack of access to these documents hampers their ability to mount a proper defense. Their lawyers contend that this situation “severely compromises [Heritage's] ability to prepare arguments on appeal,” and they claimed there is “ample evidence of agency bad faith,” pointing to the complexities of the case.

On the bright side, Prince Harry's visa situation may not pose significant issues for him, especially after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, recently purchased a luxurious holiday home in Portugal. This substantial investment could potentially grant him a ‘Golden Visa,’ providing easier access to all European nations, aside from the UK.
