While the trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp was taking place, some details about the relationship that the actress had with Elon Musk were revealed, which were revived thanks to the recent release of the businessman's biography.
The book, which went on sale on September 12 and bears the name of the CEO of X (formerly Twitter), narrates some passages in the life of the tycoon, although one of the ones that has attracted the most attention has to do with the love relationship he had with the Aquaman actress.
‘Difficult Relationships’: The chapter that talks about the relationship between Elon Musk and Amber Heard
Thanks to the testimonies and information that came out during the trial in 2022, it was learned that Elon Musk and Amber Heard started a relationship after the actress and Johnny Depp's divorce.
However, in the chapter ‘Difficult Relationships’, dedicated to the turbulent relationship between the businessman and the actress from Diary of a Seducer (2011), they point out that they met in 2013, when she was filming Machete Kills, a film by Robert Rodriguez.
However, they remained friends for four years, as she already had a formal relationship and later married the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.

When she was already divorced from Depp, she started dating the owner of SpaceX, although their dates were more like visits to each other's workplaces, since both were busy with their own projects: she as an actress and he as a businessman.
In the conversations they had, they both realized that they had very similar tastes: both are fans of geek themes, which many people could consider 'nerdy'.
"I guess you could call me a geek and also a sexy girl," Amber told the author of the biography, according to People and Vanity Fair. She even revealed a gesture that the activist also had for her then partner: she had a Mercy costume made, a character from the Overwatch video game.
This is because at some point, Musk told the young Amber that, with her costume that she used as Mera in the Aquaman movie, she reminded him of her favorite character from Overwatch. In fact, Elon himself recently shared a photo of the actress, now 37 years old, wearing the cosplay.

For example, according to Kimbal Musk, Elon's brother, the tycoon tends to fall in love with people who are "beautiful, no doubt, but have a very dark side," pointing to his brother's then-partner as a "toxic" person and "a nightmare."
"I'm often a fool, but mostly for love," Musk told his biographer, the writer Walter Isaacson. He also described their relationship as "brutal," as there were many comings and goings between the two, in addition to the multiple arguments they had.
Amber Heard herself also spoke about that relationship, telling Isaacson that she still "loves her ex very much." “Elon loves fire and sometimes he burns it,” he said.
