Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Kris Jenner's Behavior Around Her Grandchildren
Kim Kardashian is sharing her frustrations with her mom, Kris Jenner, in a candid conversation about family life.
In a recent appearance on iHeartRadio’s *What in the Winkler?!* podcast, the 44-year-old reality star opened up about what she finds most challenging about Kris's behavior, especially when it comes to her role as a grandmother.
"The one thing that really frustrates me about my mom is her behavior when it comes to snacks and candy," Kardashian began. "She is super judgmental about what the kids eat, but her house is literally stocked with every candy, ice cream—you name it. It's like a kid's dreamland."
Kardashian, who shares four children with her ex-husband Kanye West—North (11), Saint (8), Chicago (6), and Psalm (5)—recalled a recent incident that illustrated her mom's double standard.
"She invited us over for her birthday, and my son went into the freezer to grab some cake," Kardashian explained. "But he said, ‘I don’t want cake, I want ice cream instead.'"
Kris, who was celebrating her 69th birthday at the time, watched as Kardashian’s son enjoyed the ice cream and commented, "Look at him eating the ice cream."
Kardashian couldn't help but laugh at the irony, saying, "I’m like, ‘You have the ice cream, and you’re judging me?’"
"My mom acts like I’m the worst mom in the world for letting them have ice cream at her house," Kardashian added, clearly amused by the situation.
In other news, a source close to Kardashian recently revealed to *People* that her life revolves around her children, and she’s essentially a "single mom," as Kanye West is often "not around."
