The Duke of Sussex kept a low profile at the event, which featured notable guests such as 2020 Tillman Scholar Bradley Snyder, a five-time gold medalist at the Paralympic Games.
According to *People*, Harry was seated next to Marie Tillman Shenton, the widow of the late Pat Tillman, during the ceremony.
Earlier this year, at the 2024 ESPY Awards in July, Harry received the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service, recognizing his efforts supporting the veteran community through his foundation, Archewell. However, his selection as the award recipient faced some criticism, notably from Pat Tillman’s mother, Mary Tillman, and others who questioned the decision.
Harry’s appearance in Chicago came just one day before he and Meghan Markle ended their months-long professional hiatus with the release of a joint video message. The couple, who reside in Montecito, appeared in good spirits as they spoke about the importance of creating safer online spaces for children at the inaugural United Nations Global Ministerial Conference.
