Prince Harry Shares Excitement for Invictus Games as Canada Hosts Next Chapter

Prince Harry captured attention during a recent TV interview when he was momentarily distracted while attending a Canadian Football League championship game.

The Duke of Sussex sat down with TSN ahead of the match to discuss the upcoming Invictus Games, which will be held in Vancouver in February 2025.

During the interview, as the crowd cheered and called his name, Harry paused mid-sentence, turning to greet the fans with a warm, “Hi guys.” After acknowledging them, he returned to the conversation, expressing his excitement for the Games.

He emphasized the importance of the Invictus Games, noting how they offer a vital opportunity for participants and their families to heal and rehabilitate through the power of sport.

"This time in less than three months, we’ll be back for the opening ceremony in February, so that’s what we’re really excited about," he said.

The Duke, who founded the Invictus Games a decade ago while still a working member of the Royal Family, has remained a passionate advocate for the competition, even after stepping down from royal duties in 2020.

The first Invictus Games took place in London in 2014, and this year, Harry marked the anniversary with a special event at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Looking ahead, he shared that the Games will return to the UK in 2027, further cementing his ongoing dedication to supporting wounded servicemen and women.
