Royal Family Faces Threat After Masked Men Breach Windsor Castle Security
The recent security breach at Windsor Castle has raised serious concerns about the safety of the royal family, with Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly deeply affected by the incident, as revealed by a former detective.
On Sunday, two masked men gained access to the royal estate while the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—were asleep just nearby.
The intruders reportedly climbed over a six-foot fence under the cover of darkness, with their intent to steal farm vehicles stored on the property.
A source told *The Sun*, "They must have been observing Windsor Castle for some time. They would have known where the vehicles were kept and when would be the safest moment to break in and leave without being detected."
In discussing the gravity of the situation, former Scotland Yard detective Mike Neville told *GB News* that both Prince William and Kate Middleton would undoubtedly be "very concerned," particularly because the thieves' target was the farm equipment.
Neville also suggested that this alarming security breach would likely prompt a "major meeting" within Thames Valley Police. Officials are expected to engage in urgent talks with security services to assess and bolster the safety measures protecting the royal family.
He continued, "While the Prince and Princess might want to lead as normal a life as possible, the reality is that they don’t live a normal life today."
"They are targets for various threats, including terrorism. After all, there are two future kings in that building. So, expect a comprehensive review of security protocols," Neville added.
