Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Concerned About Their Future in the U.S. as Trump Wins!
As Donald Trump secures another term as President, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly looking into backup plans for their future in the United States.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have expressed concerns about their long-term stay in America—especially following Harry's past admissions regarding drug use—are said to be exploring options to ensure their family’s security.
Royal expert Hugo Vickers shared his thoughts with *The Sun*, saying, "I wouldn't be surprised if Trump suddenly decided, 'Right, I'm sending Prince Harry out of this country.'"
He explained that Trump could use Harry's past drug use—including marijuana, cocaine, and magic mushrooms—as a potential reason for sending him out of the U.S., especially if Harry failed to disclose these details on his visa application.
"I think it’s very smart for them to consider all possibilities and look for a place to live outside the U.S.," Vickers continued. "From an outsider's perspective, it makes perfect sense that they should have a backup plan."
While the idea of Harry being forced out of the U.S. would be problematic for the couple—especially since Meghan is deeply rooted in America—it’s possible the Sussexes have already thought ahead. Their recent purchase of a holiday home in Portugal could be a sign that they are preparing for any potential challenges ahead.
