Prince William and Kate Middleton Leave Windsor with Kids Ahead of Christmas
Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly departed Windsor with their children, marking the beginning of their Christmas celebrations. Their departure follows a security situation involving Prince Andrew, which has sparked new concerns.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to have headed to their Georgian home, Anmer Hall, located on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. Their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—accompanied them after the closure of their school for the holiday season.
The family is expected to join King Charles and Queen Camilla at Sandringham, the royal family's beloved Norfolk residence, where they traditionally celebrate Christmas.
This year's Christmas holds added significance for William and Kate, as reports suggest that they are preparing for William’s future ascension to the throne. Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith has noted that the couple has begun to prepare for the possibility of William becoming king sooner than anticipated.
The holiday season also comes after a challenging year for Kate, who faced health struggles, with Prince William recently describing it as a “brutal” year.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew’s finances are under scrutiny by MI5, with investigations into money allegedly linked to China. According to *The Telegraph*, a close associate of the Duke of York is being investigated by security services. In a related development, it was reported that this individual had been banned from the UK on national security grounds.
Royal biographer Bedell Smith noted, “Although the king is carrying out his duties with typical determination, he has had to accept limitations during his cancer treatment. As a result, William has been taking on more responsibilities, and he and Kate have been preparing for their future roles sooner than they would have expected.”
