King Charles has extended a thoughtful gesture to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by including the estranged royal couple in his preparations for this year’s Christmas speech.
According to Charlotte Griffiths, a well-known royal commentator, the monarch has taken inspiration from the California-based couple by sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of his upcoming historic Christmas message.
During a discussion on GB News, the royal expert highlighted the recently released video on the royal family’s official Instagram account. She remarked, "I've never seen a preview before. It's only a split-second glimpse, but it is really interesting because it shows him looking, I think, quite nervous."
Griffiths also pointed out the royal family's evolving approach to media, noting how they continue to engage with fans on social media platforms.
"They are getting more media-savvy," Charlotte said. "We saw that earlier in the year with Catherine's video revealing her chemotherapy—that was quite Hollywood-ized."
She further speculated that King Charles and other senior members of the royal family might be learning from the Sussexes’ modern media strategies.
"Obviously, they’re just really starting to learn the ways, possibly even from California—maybe they’re taking tips from Meghan and Harry," Charlotte concluded.
