Duchess Meghan Shares Heartwarming Christmas Celebrations with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have been the subject of much media attention ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a rare update about their family life.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated Christmas in an intimate gathering at their Montecito home, surrounded by their two children. This special reunion occurred during the festive season, marking yet another holiday the couple has spent away from the royal family.
Meghan and Harry, now in their sixth year without the royal family during Christmas, have created their own unique holiday traditions, while the royal family continued to observe its long-established customs at Sandringham.
Meghan has previously expressed her excitement about spending the holiday season with Archie and Lilibet, noting that each year brings new experiences with her children. During an event for her Archewell charity last month, she shared her desire for her children to experience the “magic” of family traditions.
In an interview with *Marie Claire*, Meghan revealed one of their favorite traditions: leaving “carrots for the reindeer.”
“As a mom with children, at first you’re just happy to have them around, but they don’t really understand everything happening yet,” Meghan explained. “Now, we’re at an age where I can’t wait to see it all through their eyes every year.”
She added that every holiday feels like a new adventure, and she hopes her children will form lasting memories through experiences like “great recipes that become part of a family tradition.”
It’s believed that Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, joined them for the festive celebration.
This heartwarming update follows a rare public glimpse into the Sussex family's holiday celebrations, with Harry and Meghan releasing their 2024 Christmas card, which is thought to be used for professional purposes. Although the children were photographed from behind to preserve their privacy, there are rumors of a second, more personal card sent to close friends and family.
