Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'Boring' Documentary Fails to Impress Audience
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest docuseries has failed to capture the attention of US-based critics.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had hoped to showcase the spirit of polo as a sport in the United States, but their new project hasn’t resonated with viewers. Despite their efforts, the show has not been able to draw in the audience as intended.
Writer Danielle Lee Cohen shared her thoughts in an article for *The Cut*, saying: "Personally, I haven’t felt compelled to watch Polo, but according to critics, it is 'tedious,' 'mostly boring,' and 'destined to fall through the submenus into obscurity at the speed of light.' Yikes."
Although the couple co-produced the series, it appears that the project was more of Prince Harry’s personal endeavor. He’s been a longtime polo player and is said to have had a clear vision for the show. However, neither Harry nor Meghan appear much in the series, which only added to the criticism.
Cohen humorously added, "I hope her cooking show goes better?"
Since stepping down from their royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan have been living in California, where they welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, alongside their son, Prince Archie. The couple has publicly accused the Royal Family of racism towards their son, sharing their grievances in a televised interview.
