"He wants to make the country better and he is better himself": Melania Trump assures that her husband is better prepared to govern the United States
Melania Trump, future First Lady of the United States, gave her first interview since Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election. She expressed her belief that, this time, she and her husband are much better prepared than in 2016 to access the White House.
In an interview broadcast on December 6 on Fox News, Melania Trump stressed that arriving in Washington DC would be easier this time. She is already "putting together her transition team", "working on setting up (her) office, organizing the residence and preparing the luggage".
For Melania Trump, the current situation is very different, "because we already know where we are going", she said. "I think because we've been (to the White House) before, it's different. The energy is different and the people around him (Donald Trump, editor's note) are different." The future First Lady also praised the country's support for her husband. "The country and the people have really supported him," she said. "He's focused on making the country a better place and he's a better person," she added, echoing Donald Trump's campaign slogan, Make America Great Again.
