Prince William Shares Humorous Comment on Child’s Artwork
Prince William is causing a stir online with his playful reaction to a child’s art.
The Prince of Wales, who also serves as Colonel-in-Chief, attended a Christmas event for families of the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment in Wiltshire. Inside the sergeants' mess, the future king mingled with servicemen, women, and their children, sharing jokes and festive cheer at the event.
During the gathering, 10-year-old Karson Heighway presented Prince William with a post-it note doodle of him. The 42-year-old prince, with a smile, humorously remarked, “Is that me?” and added, “Looks like I have five nostrils!”
The Mercian Regiment, which largely consists of members from the Midlands, was buzzing with football chatter, with fans supporting teams like Stoke, West Brom, Wolves, and Aston Villa.
Prince William, who recently attended the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris alongside former President Donald Trump, also shared his plans to watch Aston Villa’s Champions League match against RB Leipzig from home. He admitted, “I was trying to get to the game, but I’ve got a lot of things going on.”
Offering a glimpse into his personal life, William revealed that he enjoys watching movies and spending time with his children, though he finds it harder to have fun now that he’s over 40. He also shared that he and Kate have been enjoying Netflix shows, including *Black Doves*, starring Keira Knightley.
Despite the festive spirit of the occasion, Prince William politely declined to wear a Santa hat or Christmas jumper, opting for a more understated look.
