Barron, Donald Trump's youngest son, captured all eyes at the electoral celebration after his father's victory in the United States elections. The fifth son of the president-elect of the United States and the first and only of Melania Trump was born on March 20, 2006 and has already come of age. At 18 years old, his imposing presence attracts attention, whose height exceeds 2 meters, a height that Donald Trump himself spoke of and attributed to his maternal grandmother, Melania's late mother. "That's how he got so tall: he only ate his food," joked the politician.
Trump's fifth child and Melania's first
Donald Trump married Melania Knauss for the third time on January 22, 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida. Shortly after their wedding, the couple announced that they were expecting a baby. Melania gave birth on March 20, 2006 to a boy who weighed 3.8 kg at birth and was baptized with the name Barron William Trump.
His first years in New York

The youngest of the Trumps spent his childhood in New York, in a luxurious penthouse in Trump Tower while attending prestigious private schools on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. His mother's favourite
Melania Trump has always been very protective of her son. "Barron is shy and reserved, and she has been a good mother to him all these years," a source close to People magazine told People. "Melania cares about Barron and his family. She has always focused on the family and, in addition to the charity work she has done, keeping up with family issues is her priority," said the future First Lady.
A very big baby

Donald Trump's youngest son has followed in his father's footsteps and has occasionally appeared in some of his speeches, such as the one he gave in Ohio in July 2016. The 10-year-old went up on stage to embrace his father, a gesture of affection that aroused tenderness among the audience and the proud look of his mother who witnessed the scene.

His first parade with Trump as president
Months went by until we saw Barron again and it happened at the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States. The youngest was 10 years old at the time and took part in his first parade through the streets of Washington greeting his compatriots once his father was sworn in as President of the United States on January 20, 2017.
It took a while for him to move to the White House
When Donald Trump was elected president and began his term in January 2017, Barron and Melania stayed in Manhattan so that the boy could finish the school year. That summer, he enrolled at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Maryland and officially moved into the White House with the rest of the family. The move was a "total life change" for the youngest, but he adapted to his new life in Washington.
A football enthusiast despite his height
Donald Trump always saw great potential for basketball in his son's height. However, he did confess that the young man was always more interested in football than in basketball. In fact, he is a big fan of Spanish teams and, as we can see in the image, he enjoyed a Champions League match between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid that was held in East Rutherford, NJ, on July 26, 2019.
The evolution of his style
Throughout his adolescence we have seen how his style and appearance have changed. With short hair, somewhat blonder, or with brown hair and somewhat longer, as we see in this image when he was 15 years old. He has always had a predilection for casual and sporty clothes, and has always remained at the side of his mother Melania, with whom he is photographed leaving the Trump Tower in New York.
His graduation
In 2021, after the end of Trump's presidential term, the family moved to Florida, and Barron had to change schools. From St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Maryland he went to Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida where he graduated last May. Barron is bilingual: he speaks English and Slovenian, Melania's native language, and has been studying business at New York University since this fall.
At his grandmother's funeral
Just a few months ago he attended the funeral of his grandmother, Amalija Knavs, Melania Trump's mother, who died in January 2024 in Palm Beach, Florida. Two years earlier, in June 2022, he had said goodbye to Ivana Trump, mother of three of his siblings, Donald, Ivanka and Eric, in a solemn ceremony with similar characteristics.
His step forward
At 18 years old, Barron has taken a step forward after his father's victory in the elections and has impressed the public with his maturity and incredible height. The youngest of the clan is taking on a more active role in the electoral celebration for the first time, something that Trump's other children had done when he was elected president in 2017. "He's a great boy, he's tall, handsome, he's been a great student and he likes politics," his father confessed. So much so that after hearing these statements, there are already Trump supporters who see in Barron a future president of the United States.
A support from the shadows
The president's youngest son has not usually appeared alongside his father at his rallies around the country, but he has played a fundamental role in the shadows. He suggested that he appear on the podcasts preferred by Generation Z and millennials. He appeared on the podcast of the Youtuber and fighter Logan Paul, Impaulsive, and in others, as well as being interviewed by the popular presenter Joe Rogan. These interventions obtained millions of views and seem to have paid off.
