Gwyneth Paltrow Calls Out Prince Harry for ‘Cowardice’ Over NGN Settlement

Gwyneth Paltrow Calls Out Prince Harry for ‘Cowardice’ Over NGN Settlement

Prince Harry, the so-called moral crusader and defender of justice, has once again demonstrated that when it comes down to the wire, cash speaks louder than convictions. Despite all his lofty promises of holding tabloids accountable for their misconduct, Harry has quietly settled his legal battle with News Group Newspapers (NGN). It happened faster than you can say "hypocrite."

Remember when Harry boldly declared he wouldn’t settle? Back then, he portrayed himself as the lone warrior, standing firm against the publishers of *The Sun* and *News of the World*. But this wasn’t just about him—it was about *the people*. Harry vowed to seek justice for all victims of unlawful information gathering. He made it clear he wanted his day in court, fighting for truth and accountability.

The irony of it all hasn’t gone unnoticed, especially by Piers Morgan. The outspoken broadcaster wasted no time sharing his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), labeling Harry a hypocrite and raising the question on everyone’s mind: When will Harry apologize to his own family? You know, the family he publicly criticized in his tell-all projects for his own financial gain.

> “So moral crusader Prince Harry took the cash. Will he now issue a full and unequivocal apology to the royal family for his own serious intrusion into their lives for personal financial gain? Or is royal intrusion absolutely fine when *he* does it? What a hypocrite.”

And then there’s Gwyneth Paltrow—Hollywood’s reigning queen of courtroom drama. You might remember her infamous skiing accident trial, where she stood her ground, cleared her name, and walked away with a symbolic $1 in damages. Paltrow faced the fire, prioritized truth over money, and emerged victorious.

Now compare that to Harry, who folded faster than a cheap tent and treated his settlement like he’d just hit the jackpot in Vegas. According to insider reports, Gwyneth and her Hollywood circle are having a field day mocking Harry’s lack of resolve.

Rumor has it that Paltrow referred to Harry as a “charlatan” for failing to see the trial through. She risked her reputation to fight for what’s right, while Harry’s legal team scrambled to avoid a courtroom showdown, knowing the outcome would likely destroy him.

In a bid to control the narrative, Harry was recently photographed posing with firefighters—a transparent attempt to deflect attention from the settlement backlash. But Hollywood isn’t buying it. Celebrities are reportedly laughing at him, calling him a “coward” and a “grifter.”

Even his reputation as a philanthropist is taking hit after hit. Critics are labeling him the “Prince of Misinformation,” accusing him of spinning tales and exploiting his past for personal gain. The same Harry who sued the tabloids for invading his privacy thought nothing of airing his family’s dirty laundry on Netflix—for a hefty paycheck.

The double standard is staggering.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is reportedly eyeing the settlement money as a potential lifeline to keep herself in the spotlight. With no major projects on the horizon, it’s not hard to see why they’d cash out. The Sussex PR machine isn’t what it used to be, and Harry’s antics aren’t exactly helping their cause.

At the end of the day, Harry’s settlement has left him looking like anything but the dragon-slayer he once portrayed himself to be. Instead, he’s come across as someone who stepped into the ring, realized it was too tough, and took the money instead.

> “The dragon-slayer is no more. He’s just a disgraceful traitor.”

It’s a disappointing turn of events. But hey, at least Gwyneth is getting a good laugh out of it. Maybe next time, Harry can take a page from her book on how to win a trial—and keep his dignity intact.
