Harry and Meghan Address Online Bullying as William Takes on Powerful Role

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Speak Out Amid Growing Concerns

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released a powerful statement addressing their concerns about online bullying, coinciding with Prince William’s recent move to a more influential role within the monarchy.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex expressed alarm over potential increases in "online bullying" following significant changes to policies by a major technology company.

Using their official platform, Sussex.com, the couple from Montecito shared their thoughts on the matter, voicing strong concerns about how these changes might affect free speech on social media.

In their statement, the parents of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who have long championed safer online spaces, wrote:

*"It doesn’t matter whether your views are left, right, or somewhere in between—the latest news about changes to their policies directly undermines free speech."*

Harry and Meghan called on the tech giant to reconsider its decision, urging it to "reconsider and reinstate policies to protect all users."

Furthermore, the former senior royals appealed to leaders across various industries to stand by their commitments to integrity and public safety in digital spaces. They also applauded those who resist succumbing to "bullying" tactics, saying:

*"We call on leaders across industries to uphold their commitments to integrity and public safety in online spaces, and we applaud leaders who refuse to kowtow to bullying."*

This statement comes amidst reports that Prince William is consolidating more power within the royal family as his father, King Charles, battles health issues. Speculation suggests that William is actively preparing to assume the throne sooner than anticipated.
