Prince Harry Opens Up About His Long-Term Plans for Returning as a Working Royal
Prince Harry has previously stated in a candid interview that he has no intention of returning to his former Royal life.
The Duke of Sussex, who stepped down as a senior Royal in 2020, revealed in 2023 that a return to his old role is simply not in the cards.
"No, I don't think it is ever going to be possible," he said when asked about the possibility of rejoining the Royal Family as a working member, according to *Express*.
He explained further, "Even if there is an agreement or arrangement between me and my family, there's that third party who will do everything they can to make sure that isn't possible. Not stopping us from going back, but making it unsurvivable.”
Prince Harry, along with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie, made the decision to step away from the Royal Family in 2020. The couple later accused certain members of the Royal Family of racism towards their son and publicly aired their grievances during a television interview. The family now resides in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
