Princess Kate surprised fans with an exciting announcement as she marked her gradual return to royal duties.
On January 30, the Princess of Wales amazed onlookers with a visit to a knitwear factory in South Wales, showcasing her continued involvement in public life. Kensington Palace shared an engaging video capturing the future Queen interacting with the workers and getting involved in the creative process.
The palace's statement accompanying the video read: "Celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and heritage at @corgisocksofficial in South Wales."
"Founded in 1892, this family-run business has grown from local roots to a global brand. From design innovation to seeing the magic happen on the factory floor, it was a great look at how tradition meets modern style in the textiles industry."
This visit comes shortly after Princess Catherine was honored with a new royal role, which adds to her already extensive work. She is now the Patron of Tŷ Hafan, a children’s hospice that supports families in Wales and ensures that children with life-limiting conditions are able to live fulfilling lives.
It’s worth noting that Kate’s father-in-law, King Charles, previously held the title of Patron for Tŷ Hafan during his time as the Prince of Wales, from 2001.
