King Charles III's office has issued a heartfelt tribute to Queen Camilla, marking the first statement following Prince Harry's settlement with a UK media group.
The royal family's social media accounts have shared charming photographs of the 77-year-old Queen, accompanied by a message highlighting her unwavering commitment to royal duties.
The photos were captioned: "Celebrating 45 years of compassionate care at Prospect Hospice."
The statement further read: "The Queen, who has been serving as President of the hospice since 2013, took the time to meet with the incredible staff, devoted volunteers, and the patients and families who benefit from Prospect’s essential services."
It went on to say: "Founded in 1980 by the Reverend Derryck Evans, Prospect Hospice is the sole provider of free, specialized end-of-life care for individuals in north-east Wiltshire."
"During her visit, The Queen officially opened the Evans Education Centre and participated in cutting a special cake to celebrate this remarkable anniversary."
This post comes just hours after Prince Harry reached a settlement in his claim against the UK publisher. The Duke had filed the joint lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers (NGN), along with former Labour deputy leader Lord Tom Watson.
Harry's legal representative confirmed that the parties had "reached an agreement," adding that NGN had issued an "unequivocal apology" and would pay "substantial damages" to the Duke.
