Meghan Markle Faces Ridicule from Netflix at Latest Season Launch!

Last night, Meghan Markle found herself the subject of ridicule at a Netflix event, and it seems Netflix may have finally had enough of the Sussexes' antics.

You won’t believe what went down at the Netflix event last night. Meghan Markle was ridiculed publicly, and it was downright brutal. It’s clear Netflix might be growing tired of what they see as "grifting."

The headlines are everywhere, with The Daily Mail reporting that Harry and Meghan were openly mocked by a comedian at a prestigious Netflix event in LA, just weeks before Meghan’s new show is set to premiere. Hollywood was watching, as Netflix hosted a launch event featuring Ben Affleck, Tina Fey, and some fascinating documentaries from names like Victoria Beckham, Eddie Murphy, and former President Barack Obama. However, Meghan and Harry were barely mentioned – as if they didn’t even exist. The shade was palpable.

It’s becoming more apparent that the American public is waking up to the fact that Meghan and Harry may not be as trustworthy as they once seemed. A comedian at the event, John Mulaney, made a joke that had everyone talking. As he described the premise of his own talk show, he said, "Not since Harry and Meghan has Netflix given more money to someone without a specific plan." The audience snickered at the remark, with some recognizing the absurdity of the Sussexes’ Netflix deal. It’s a hard pill to swallow when you realize that after receiving over $100 million from Netflix, Meghan and Harry have little to show for it. Their mockumentary didn’t fare well, and neither did their following projects. From the failed "Live to Lead" series to the cancellation of Meghan’s animated series "Pearl," Netflix’s investment in them has seen little return.

What was the audience’s reaction? Some laughed, recognizing the truth in the joke. Others were taken aback, and for those who felt offended, I’d suggest they steer clear of the South Park episode "Worldwide Privacy Tour" – that would surely push them over the edge.

A source who attended the event told the Daily Mail, "It was shocking that Netflix would allow Meghan and Harry to be ridiculed at such a high-profile event. The executives were all there, and yet a show from the couple who signed a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix barely made an appearance. Even Tyler Perry, who has helped the Sussexes in the past, got a mention. It felt like Netflix just didn’t care anymore."

It’s not just the ridicule at the event, though. The absence of Meghan and Harry at such a prestigious launch only solidifies the theory that Netflix may be over them. After all, you’d think that with Meghan’s series set to launch in just a few weeks, Netflix would have put more focus on her. But instead, they almost ignored her. This could very well mean that Netflix is simply biding its time until the Sussexes' contract expires.

Netflix has allowed Meghan and Harry to be publicly humiliated, and they’re not even trying to hide it. With each passing day, it becomes clearer that the streaming giant may have already made up its mind about them. It’s a tough look for the Sussexes, especially when it’s being made known by one of the top comedians in the U.S.
