Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Make It to Donald Trump’s ‘Priority List’—Here’s Why

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Face Potential Consequences from Donald Trump

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be facing potential legal action from Donald Trump if they cross him.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, now living in the United States under Trump’s presidency, have been advised to tread carefully when it comes to their interactions with the current leader of the country.

Royal commentator Sarah Louise Robertson suggests that while Harry and Meghan are currently "low" on Trump’s radar, they still have the potential to upset him. She warns that if tensions rise, Trump would likely have no hesitation in taking strict measures, including deportation.

However, should things take a turn for the worse in America, the couple isn’t entirely without options.

Royal expert Jennie Bond points out that Meghan and Harry have a potential retreat in Portugal. She explains, "They do now have a bolt hole in Portugal. It’s probably much more than just a safe haven – it’s undoubtedly a very beautiful property, likely sourced by Eugenie’s husband, Jack."

Bond speculates that if they find themselves in a challenging situation in the U.S., they may choose to spend more time in Europe. However, she adds that Harry and Meghan will likely wait to see how things unfold in America before making any drastic decisions. “They seem very happy with their California lifestyle and are likely hesitant to disrupt their children’s lives unnecessarily,” she says.

For now, the couple seems content in their Californian home, but with the political climate always shifting, they may have to reassess their situation in the future.
