Meghan Markle's New Show: A 'Recipe' for Trouble, Not Triumpha

Meghan Markle's Lifestyle Show Faces Criticism Ahead of Premiere

Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix series *With Love, Meghan* is already drawing sharp criticism ahead of its premiere on January 15. GB News presenter Martin Daubney didn’t hold back, slamming the show’s extravagant production values.

Daubney particularly took issue with the portrayal of Meghan making "bespoke doughnuts" in what appears to be a lavish £5 million mansion. He pointed out that the mansion was just a set and not actually her home. "Ice cubes with flowers inside—just what everyone needs. Who’s got the time for that?" he sarcastically quipped, suggesting the show might be more about showcasing wealth than offering practical advice.

The show’s lavish lifestyle content has been compared to Gwyneth Paltrow’s *Goop*, albeit without the controversial scented candles. The eight-episode series promises a blend of "practical how-tos and candid conversations," with Meghan attempting to teach viewers how to "elevate the everyday into the extraordinary."

However, not everyone shares Daubney’s skepticism. Royal historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop also weighed in, calling the series "so out-of-reach for the vast majority, it is laughable."

Despite Meghan’s intentions to share "extraordinary" lifestyle tips, it seems many are questioning whether the show’s high-end advice can truly resonate with everyday viewers, especially when the woman behind the show is touted as one of the wealthiest figures in the world.
