Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Latest Move Sparks Reaction from Piers Morgan
Outspoken British TV personality Piers Morgan has once again criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following their recent visit to victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex drew attention for their appearance at an evacuation center in Pasadena on Friday, January 10, where they showed support to those affected by the devastating fires. However, their well-intentioned gesture has been met with backlash, with some critics labeling them as "disaster tourists."
Despite their attempt to garner goodwill, Meghan and Harry's visit backfired after they were photographed at a food bank, with some accusing them of using the moment for self-promotion.
Piers Morgan, who never shies away from voicing his opinion, added his thoughts to the conversation. He criticized the couple's actions, particularly their attempt to comfort those who had lost their homes, and raised questions about their royal titles.
"I'm very cynical," the 59-year-old *Uncensored* host told the *Daily Telegraph*. "I think it's purely for self-promotional reasons."
Morgan went further, suggesting that the Sussexes' royal titles should be stripped after they relocated to the United States.
"I find it pretty sickening, actually," Piers remarked. "I just think that King Charles should remove their titles."
Never one to hold back, Morgan continued, "You can go and do what you like as C-list celebrities — that's pretty much how they're viewed in America now. If you want to do this for personal, self-aggrandizing reasons, fine, but you're not doing it as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex anymore."
