Meghan Markle Receives Heartfelt Support from Prince Harry Amid Growing Criticism
Prince Harry made a strong and heartfelt statement in support of his wife, Meghan Markle, as criticism mounted following their joint appearance during the recent LA fire.
The Duke of Sussex seemingly took a stand against online trolls with a gesture of love for the Duchess, after she was harshly criticized for assisting wildfire victims. Their visit to the Pasadena Convention Centre, meant to offer help, was dismissed by several royal commentators as a mere publicity stunt.
According to Heat magazine, Harry reassured Meghan, telling her how proud he was of her actions and reminding her that the best way to deal with negativity is to “turn the other cheek” and focus on doing good.
However, a source close to the couple revealed that the former working royals were deeply hurt by the judgment of their sincere efforts.
“They could have easily left town, but instead, they drove two hours towards the fire to help at the World Central Kitchen," the insider shared. "They served meals to evacuees, spoke with people, and offered comfort. It was exactly what you’d expect from Princess Diana’s son.”
In addition, Harry and Meghan, who stepped away from royal duties in 2020, shared a personal message on their official website, Sussex.com, calling on others to help the victims of the Los Angeles fires. They encouraged people to donate and offer shelter to those in need, reinforcing their commitment to supporting the affected community.
