Prince Harry Embraces 'Royal Role' as He Supports Fire Victims in California
Prince Harry has sparked excitement among his fans after appearing to embrace his "royal role" once again, much to the delight of his father, King Charles. The Duke of Sussex seems to have settled into his previous duties, despite his life in Montecito with wife Meghan Markle taking an unexpected turn.
The couple made a surprise appearance together to offer support to those affected by the Los Angeles fires, visiting an evacuation center in Pasadena, California. They donated to the affected communities and offered comforting words to those who had been impacted. During the visit, Harry fully embraced his royal duties, offering hugs and emotional support to victims.
Body language expert Judi James analyzed the couple's gestures during their visit, sharing her observations with *Express*.
According to James, Meghan demonstrated a variety of emotional responses, using different levels of engagement as she listened to the stories shared by those affected. As for Harry, James noted that at one point, he seemed "a little distracted" or "lost." However, he quickly mirrored his wife’s actions, placing a reassuring hand on a victim’s shoulder.
"Harry appeared more assured with a man, cupping the side of his face before offering a close hug, conveying sympathy," the expert explained.
James also pointed out that Harry had "fallen into the royal role" he would have played during similar tragedies or disasters in the UK. These public displays of compassion, James suggests, could be seen as a way to boost morale and garner attention in the midst of a crisis.
