Duke of Sussex's Plans for Upcoming UK Visit Unveiled
Prince Harry is preparing for his return to the UK, and his upcoming visit is already sparking intrigue and speculation.
The Duke of Sussex is scheduled to attend his ongoing trial against News Group Newspapers at the High Court next month. However, his approach to this trip has drawn attention, particularly regarding his stance toward the royal family.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams recently shared insights with GB News, suggesting that Harry might use this visit as an indirect form of protest against the monarchy. Fitzwilliams pointed out that during a previous visit, Buckingham Palace was reportedly offered as an accommodation option, but Harry opted to stay in a hotel instead.
Commenting on this unusual choice, Fitzwilliams remarked, "We do know that Buckingham Palace was offered for the last visit and rejected in favor of a hotel. Now, that's never been explained. I don't understand. It's obviously part of a protest."
He also addressed Harry's ongoing legal battle with the Home Office over security arrangements, stating, "So far as security is concerned, we know he's appealing the Home Office's decision not to automatically grant him security. Who would have thought he'd prefer a hotel to Buckingham Palace?"
Notably, Harry will be traveling without his wife, Meghan Markle, who is not expected to join him on this UK trip.
As for whether Harry will reunite with his family, the question remains uncertain. His relationship with key members of the royal family, particularly his brother, Prince William, and his father, King Charles, remains strained, leaving royal watchers guessing if any reconciliation might take place during his visit.
