Prince Harry Makes Plea After King Charles’ Emotional Moment
Prince Harry has shared a heartfelt message in support of a cause close to his heart, marking his first video appearance following his recent legal victory in the UK.
The Duke of Sussex, still a patron of several UK charities, addressed the public from his home in Montecito, California, after King Charles had an emotional experience during his first royal tour of the year.
In his video, Harry made an impassioned plea for support for the *WellChild Awards*, a charity dedicated to recognizing and celebrating young people in the UK who live with complex medical conditions, as well as those who provide exceptional care to them.
“This year marks the 20th edition of the WellChild Awards,” Harry said, highlighting how the event has provided a platform to shine a light on the “remarkable stories of strength, resilience, and courage” of those involved.
“It’s a true privilege to honour the bravery and compassion of this incredible community,” Harry added. “And to make this happen, we need your help to nominate the exceptional people who inspire you every single day.”
He encouraged the public to get involved, saying, “Your support can make all the difference. Please join us in recognising the amazing individuals who will be honoured at the 2025 WellChild Awards!”
Harry’s message came shortly after King Charles, who was in Poland for a significant event to mark Holocaust remembrance, was visibly moved to tears. Reflecting on the tragic events of the Holocaust, the monarch was seen deeply affected, surrounded by world leaders and survivors during the emotional commemoration.
