Prince Harry Shares Heartfelt Moment with LA Fire Victim During Visit
Prince Harry has been praised for his touching act of kindness towards an elderly fire victim during a surprise visit to those affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.
On Friday, the Duke of Sussex, accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle, visited the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena to support the devastated community.
A fan account on X shared that Harry’s heartfelt gesture moved an elderly man to tears. According to Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo, Harry was seen sitting with the older evacuee at the Convention Centre.
The emotional moment occurred when the elderly man requested a doughnut from the Duke, and Harry made sure to fulfill the request. After receiving the treat, the man expressed his gratitude, saying, "If you ever run for anything, I’ll vote for you."
The mayor also praised the couple for their uplifting visit, saying they “really buoyed the spirits of the first responders.” He shared with Fox 11 that Harry and Meghan took the time to visit affected families in burned-out areas of Pasadena and Altadena, showing a deep concern for the well-being of their neighbors.
Mayor Gordo described Harry and Meghan as “very caring people who are concerned for their friends and neighbours.”
